Bean Dip
This is one super easy dip. My family calls it bean dip, but our version has no beans in it. It’s great if you are invited to something where you need to bring something along, but you don’t have a lot of time.
Here’s what you need:
1 package Philadelphia cream cheese
1 can Hormel Chili No Beans
All you do is heat up the two ingredients on the stove or in the microwave and stir everything together. Serve it with tortilla chips.
Tips:
If you happen to have a tiny little crock pot like everyone in my family seems to have use that for this dip. It keeps it hot the entire time and it’s the perfect size. If you happen to have a tiny crock pot you can just make the dip in it. No need to use the stove or microwave or dirty and extra dish.
Europeanized Version:
At the moment there is no version. While you can buy the cream cheese here I haven’t tested out any of the premade chilis. It would be possible to make your own chili and mix it with cream cheese or even use any leftovers you might have from chili to make this dip. If anyone living in Europe wants to give this one a try and tell me what they’ve come up with I’ll gladly add your suggestions!
